In Love With My Bestie *chapter 1*

"Ugh my head is aching so bad" says Jason as he dumps his heavy body on top of me on my bed like it's his.

"Eww get off me you oaf! You smell like puke" i screamed pushing him off me to the other side of the bed.

"No, i don't" he countered

"Yes you do! And i'm  pretty sure your head is aching cos of the many shots you took tonight.." i grumbled rolling my eyes at my best friend and long time crush

"Whatever mom"

"What are you even doing in my room by this time of the night. It's 1 am in the morning"

"I came here because i can Han. You're still my best friend after all.."

"Who let you in?"

"I have a key remember?"

"Well.. remind me to take it back tomorrow. Cos i won't have you disturbing my beauty sleep whenever you feel like Jase.."

I complained even though i'm happy he is here, i like sleeping and waking up next to him. I love his smell, i love his smile,i love waking up to his handsome face in the morning, i love how he always comes to me like i'm his other half. I love everything about him. Yes! I am in love with my best friend, have been since 3rd grade. And No, he has no idea.

"Why are you screaming Han" yes he calls me Han and i call him Jase

"I am not screaming. Who were you with this time anyways"

"Stacy of course.."

"Oh you mean your slutty girlfriend Stacy?"

Like as if i didn't know already, i just ask to annoy him. I mean i've been around long enough to see him sleep with girl after girl(believe me there have been a lot of them), but now I'm getting kinda worried cos Stacy has stayed more than a week. Which is how long his other "relationships" lasted. 

"She is not a slut Han, stop calling her that.."

I snort.."she looks like one to me"

"That's cos you're jealous"

"What? Get over yourself Jase, you're not that hot"

He turned around and flashed me one of his cute smiles, showing off his dimples and making my heart flutter in my chest.

"Yes..i am that hot! Wanna see?"

Before i could reply, he jumped off the bed and stood facing me. He pulled off his black t-shirt showing me his well carved, beautiful toned 6pack chest. I bit my tongue to keep myself from gasping out loud.

Instead i rolled my eyes at him, giving him a bored look. "Nothing i haven't seen before"

He raised his perfectly carved eyebrow at me and asked.. "Oh yeah? Wanna see the other dude?"

This time i gasped out loud and jumped off the bed, running off to the bathroom before he could pull down his denim pants. I heard him bark with laughter in my wake

"That's what i thought, bloody virgin"

I popped my head from the bathroom door and gave him the middle finger. "Fuck you Jason"

"Thank you Han" he winked at me

I huffed and banged the bathroom door shut in his face. I quickly washed my face then headed back to the room, I saw him already snoring softly, i picked up his t-shirt from the floor and put it inside my closet. Then snuggled in beside him, covering us both with my blanket. I put off my bedside lamp and cuddled closer to his chest, listening him breathe as i slept off..

I woke up with this intense feeling in my bladder, meaning i need to pee like right away. I got up and started the annoying process of entangling myself from Jason's limbs, gosh this guy weighs a ton ugh..i need to pee! 

Just as i was about to pull myself up, his arm pulled my bum closer to his tummy. Making me to be instantly aware of his morning wood, i squirmed to get myself away but he only moaned softly pulling me closer. I did the only thing i could think of at the moment, i smacked him right on his face making him jump and fall from the bed cursing.

"Ow! What the hell Han?"

"Sorry, needed to pee and you won't let go"

"And you had to smack me?"

I was already in the bathroom doing my business by now. I smiled to myself at the look on his face when he fell. I washed my hand, brushed my teeth and washed my face before heading back to the room to find him laying down, sulking like a 5 year old.

I smiled as i walked over to him. "I'm sorry please"

"Won't cut it, you have to make it up to me"

"With?"

"Make me some breakfast, i'm starving"

"I'm not your mother Jason" i scolded

"I know that but you owe me"

"Okay fine, today's your lucky day. Let's go and make breakfast"

I said walking out of the room with him tailing behind me, grinning from ear to ear

"That's why I love you"

My heart quickened when he said that, but i know he doesn't mean it in that way. But still.. a girl can hope

"Really? You love me just cos i want to make breakfast for you?" I teased him

"Of course not Han, you're my best friend and i love you"

He said hugging from behind and i turned and hugged him back smiling.

"Love you too Jase, but you stink honestly. You need a shower and brush your teeth please"

"I knew it wouldn't last"

I laughed and smacked his arm softly.. "Go and i promise breakfast will be ready when you come down here"

"Alright, see you in a bit"

He hurried back upstairs to my room while i went into the kitchen to make us food. Yes he has his own brush in my bathroom and some of his clothes are in my closet, same in his. Yes we are that close.


Fifteen minutes later and we are sitting in the kitchen eating our toasts and eggs with coffee. I only ate little while he devoured everything else, i like to watch him eat my food. Gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside.

"That was amazing, thanks Han"

"You're welcome Jase"

I handed him a glass of water and an aspirin for his hangover and he took them mumbling his thanks. After taking it, he helped me load the dishes and clean up before leaving the kitchen and walked him over to the front door.

"So i'll see in school later right?"

"Sure will"

"Okay bye" he pecked me before jogging off to his car packed on our front porch.

"Bye.." i closed the door and danced off to my room to bathe and get dressed for school.

I parked my car and walked into the school halls, i opened my locker and was pulling out my books for class when i heard someone yell my name. I turned to find two familiar faces smilling, heading towards me. And they are my other friends Sarah and Richie, i smiled and waved them over.

"Hey guys, what's up?" I asked

"We're fine Hannah, where's your other half?" Sarah teased and Richie smiled

I rolled my eyes as i smiled back at them. "He will be here soon. So what are you guys doing this weekend?"

"Nothing yet" Sarah answered first

"What about you Rich?"

"I'm going to that party at the Jake Hartford's house, are you guys coming?"

"I'll have to ask Jason later, Sarah why don't you go with Rich. Instead of staying in doing nothing"

Yes i'm trying to play match maker here cos i know Sarah has been secretly crushing on Richie since we all became friends but just like me, she was shy to tell him. She blushed and gave him a shy smile before she asked.

"If that's okay with you Rich?"

"Of course Sarah, i'll come pick you up by 7 yeah?"

"Alright."

I smiled as i watched them both, already feeling like mama bear to their little cubs. I heard him before i saw him, i can recognize that voice anywhere... my face instantly lightend up before i turned around in searchof Jase, only to see him hand in hand with Stacy. Coming towards us and my mood totally changed.

"Oh here comes your prince.." said Sarah

"Yepp i see him."

"Hi guys, hello again Han" Jase greeted us smiling but i didn't return his smile

"What's up Hannah, Sarah, Richie.." the bitch called out in that high pitched, annoying voice of hers

"Hello Jason, Stacy" we all said in unison while i plastered a fake smile on my face

Sarah and Richie knows i didn't like Stacy so they tried to avoid her as much as they can, which is good because they also know what a bitch she really is even though she try to pretend to be nice in front of Jason.

"I'll see you guys at lunch, i have class.." Richie said before walking away

"See ya. Let's go to class Sarah, see ya Jase" we walked away totally ignoring Stacy and her fake smile.

"I hate her" said Sarah

"Me too.."

Yes she is the only one that knows how i truly feel about Jason and she has encouraged me plenty of times to tell him but i didn't want to lose what we have now. And i can't bear to hear him say he doesn't feel same, it will literally kill me. So i chose to love him in silence but it's getting harder by the day watching him with different girls all the time.

We walked into Biology and took our seats at the back of the class and sat down. I brought out my notes to write when Mr Waldorf got up to teach but was interrupted when the door opened and in walked Jase and Stacy hand in hand. I rolled my eyes on seeing them

"Great! Just great" i muttered to myself. I totally forgot we have the same class

Stacy pulled his hand and they sat in the chair directly opposite me, as if that wasn't enough. She turned and gave him a sound kiss right in my face! He didn't even pull away, in fact he seemed to enjoy it and that hurt like i had a knife in my gut. She turned and winked at me before turning to face Mr Waldorf.

My hand started shaking, i felt the tears coming but i pushed it back. Sarah reached and squeezed my hand in understanding and i gave her a weak smile. I sat and stared into space, waiting for the class to be over so i can get out of here. Immediately i heard the bell ring, i packed my books and rushed out of the class towards the girl's bathroom.

In there i locked myself in and cried till i had nothing left in me. I came out and washed my face, before applying my mascara and lip gloss again. I touched up my dark locks to make it look presentable and packed up my stuff. Turning around to leave, i heard the door open and came face to face with my worst enemy. She pushed the door close and walked towards me with a sly smile on her beautiful face

"Well hey there Hannah, what are you doing in here all by yourself?"

"It's none of your business" i tried to walk past her but she grabbed my arm and pushed me back

"Where do you think you're going? Wait..have you been crying?" I felt my face heat with embarrassment when she noticed my still red eyes and puffy nose

"Like i said, it's none of your damn businesses. Stay out of my way"

"Or what? What are you gonna do? Tell on me?" She snapped, her eyes shinning with anger

"Wouldn't you like to know?"

"Shut up bitch! I know you guys are friends and all but let me warn you, you will not get rid of me that easily. I love Jason and i will not let you come between us!"

"Okay, noted. Have fun getting in between us, i am his best friend and I'm not going anywhere"

She raised her hand and smacked me before my eyes even registered what she was about doing. I tasted blood in my mouth not believing what just happened. I stood frozen on the spot while she went on ranting like a crazy dog

"That'll teach you not to run your mouth at me, stay away from Jason or i will make you" with that she turned and stormed out of the bathroom, leaving a whiff of her perfume behind.

With anger boiling inside me, i walked out of the bathroom in search of Jason. Thankfully, i saw sitting in the cafeteria laughing and talking with his friends, he saw me approaching and waved me over.

"Hey Han, where have you been?"

I didn't bother replying but walked over and before he could say another word, i smacked him hard across the face like his girlfriend did me. The look on his face was priceless and it made me feel a little bit better.

"What the hell Hannah!" He roared at me but i didn't back down, i know he'll never hurt me physically. So i shouted back

"That was for being a man whore and dating the school slut! Tell that bitch to stay far away from me"

"What are you talking about?"

"Look at my face Jason! She freaking slapped me"

"What?" He grabbed my face and turned it to the side to get a better view

"Son of a! She did this"

"Yes, she did"

His face softened immediately and he tried to hold me but i pushed him away cos i was still mad at him for dating her and she for being a bitch

"I'm sorry Han please"

"Just tell her to stay away from me" i turned and walked away, leaving tons of eyes staring at us both in confusion

Sarah ran after me, obviously she heard. "Are you okay Anna?"

"I will be"

"I'm sorry, that girl is evil"

"Thanks, don't worry about it"

"I wish i was there, i would've clawed her eyes out. How dare she?"

"It's alright Sarah, look can you cover for me? I really want to go home now"

"Sure. Will you be okay alone?"

"Of course, i just need to lay down for a bit. Thanks Sarah"

"Alright, call me"

"Yep"

I walked to my car and drove home, i got into the house thanking God my parents aren't at home. I really wanted to be alone right now, i took water from the fridge and walked up to my room. I dumped my bag on my floor and crawled into my bed. I heard my phone peep and picked it up to see 3missed calls from Jason and 4 text messages from him and Sarah and Richie.

From Sarah: Anna are you okay? 
                       Yes, i am. Don't worry

From Richie: Hannah where are you? I heard what happened with Jason.
                   I'm at home Richie, don't worry about me

From Jason: Han where are you? I've been looking all over for you?

Another one: Why aren't you picking my calls? Where are you Hannah, i'm getting worried.

I sighed before i replied him: I'm at home! Don't bother coming cos i want to be alone.


I shut my phone to avoid any disturbance and pulled the blanket over me, sleeping off immediately.


Two hours later 

I woke up with a start when i felt a hand brush my hair off my face, i opened my eyes to see Jason leaning over me with a small smile on his face. I smiled back and sat up

"How are you feeling?"

"Better. How long have you been here?"

"For a while"

"Have you been watching me sleep?"

"Maybe?"

I rolled my eyes and laughed. "That is not creepy at all"

"Whatever Han"

Before i could say anything again, i heard my stomach rumble reminding me i haven't eaten since morning. I looked up at Jase to see him smiling and flushed throwing my pillow at him

"Wipe that smile off your face now, i'm hungry and it's all your fault i missed lunch"

"I know, i'm sorry and i have ordered pizza to make it up to you" Just then the doorbell rang and he got up to answer it

"Must be them, be right back"
He was back in a flash and dumped the pizza on the floor pulling me down to sit with him, he came with plates as well and i jumped right in to eat. I was ravenous and i didn't talk i was done eating everything.

"Thanks Jase"

"Anything for you Han, i'm really sorry about today. It won't happen again"

"How do know that"

"Because i broke it off with her, nobody messes with my girl amd and gets away with it"

Not to sound evil but that news really happy and i smiled broadly before i smacked his arm playfully

"About time"

"Ow! You'll soon smack me into coma one fo these days"

I rolled my eyes laughing hysterically. "It hurt right?" asking about the slap at school

"Oh yes, it did"

"The look on your face was priceless though"

"It was right?"

I sobered up immediately and hugged his back before whispering to him. "I'm sorry"

"It's okay Han. I guess i deserved it for not seeing her for what she is earlier"

I smiled to myself and ruffled his hair before saying. "I can always smack you to reset your brain next time"

"Don't you dare! Once is enough"

We played some game before he got up to leave cos it was getting late. I whined as i walked him to the front door

"Do you have to go?"

"You know i didn't sleep at home last night. I have to go please?"

"Okay, see you"

"See you Han. Bye"

I watched him drive off before i closed the door softly and walked upstairs to my room.

I was laying down about to doze off again when my phone beeped again. Another text from Jase

"Night baby girl, love you. Kisses"

I blushed before i replied. "Night Jase, love you. Hugs"

I plugged my phone in the charger and slept off with a smile on my face. I love my best friend
